TMA

TMAs function by amplifying the uplink (Rx) and downlink (Tx) signals through RF filters. In the uplink path, the signal is amplified using redundant low-noise amplifiers. A bias-tee function is included to inject the DC supply voltage into the TMA from the inner conductor of the feeder cable.

The new TMAs from LEAX Arkivator Telecom provides security in the event of a possible malfunction. Should anything prevent the TMA from working correctly, a bypass function automatically diverts the signals and activates an alarm notification over the PDU (Power Distribution Unit), indicating the malfunction via LEDs.
